Video Howto: Initial Configuration of Windows Server 2012 / 2012 R2 Server Core

Hello again everyone!

I’m happy to bring to you post 2 in my series regarding the use of Server Core in Windows Server 2012 and 2012 R2.

My 1st post in this series covered the topic of what server core is, what the benefits are, and why you should be running it. Now I bring you my first video howto for, expanding on this subject.

This screencast will be covering the initial configuration steps that need to be taken after a fresh install of Windows Server Core. I will also be covering some of the GUI tools that are still available to you in server core as well. Finally, I will walk you through how you go about accessing the iSCSI configuration utilities for managing connections to shared storage infrastructure.

I know this is a very hot subject on the web lately. So, feel free to contact me via my contact me page or the comments section at the bottom of this post if you have any questions.
